A recent CNN article brings back good news from the students at MIT that managed to transmit enough energy to power a 60 watt light bulb last year. Intel is now getting behind the project and had managed to transmit 60 watts at 75% efficiency. CNN also reports that the original students have improved there previous system to transmit as much as 90% power as far as three feet.
Where I would love to see this idea utilized is in electric cars. Embed this system into your driveway or garage floor, drive over a sensor and it recharges your car for you automatically. What better way to tie in two budding technologies. Place the recharging equipment in the rear of the car away from the electronics, in case it messes with the computer system, and you have a viable and sellable system that is near ready to roll out.
I just can not wait.

Of course they claim they are going to appeal, but the Russian copyright law is still quite different from American copyright law.

Silly companies. Music is for the people.

For those researchers out there that thought the Zero Day Initiative was not offering enough money for your zero day exploit, rejoice. WabiSabiLabi, a swiss based company, is offering an auction site for new unreported vulnerabilities. According to the companies home page:

WabiSabiLabi is aiming to a single moving target: to bring the world closer to zero risk.

So how does this fall into arguments for responsible disclosure? Are governments, vendors, and criminals going to start an open bidding war over the security of the infrastructure?

Over at Apple.com is a curious video about how to sync / activate your iPhone to iTunes. What makes this video so curious is that while Apple is explaining how to use your iPhone, the capacity is displaying the all too familiar 74.40 GB.
Is this some sort of hacked up iTunes for the demo video? If it is, this would not instill must faith in a new user to know that Apple had to use a hacked up version of iTunes to activate and sync there own iPhone.

Maybe this is a sneak peak at whats to come? Let he rumor mills begin.
