Art International Radio is an internet radio station based in the Clocktower in lower Manhattan, run by Alanna Heiss, who’s been at the forefront of contemporary art in New York City for decades. The Internet radio station is a non-profit Internet radio station, free online cultural archive, and media arts center. Producing over 500 new radio shows annually, AIR features a diverse range of programming from audio art to interviews and from music to spoken word and radio theater.
AIR broadcasts art-related talk and interviews as well as an eclectic range of music, and experiments with radio theatere and more ambitious sound-based extensions of art projects.
