National Public Radio’s 1981 adaptation of Star Wars was one of the most successful presentations in the history of radio: and a very tough act to follow. Nevertheless, two years later, the members of the Star Wars production team eagerly returned to create a radio version of The Empire Strikes Back.
I recently finished listening to this amazing 4 hour 20 minute production. Audible.com has it available for download and I figured I would give it a shot after listening to the first couple minute demo. NPR has gone above and beyond my expectations of this adaptation of one of the most amazing films / stories ever created. I highly recommend every Star Wars fan listen to this at least once as it WILL NOT DISSAPOINT! Go check it out…
