Good article that gives the thumbs up to Mac OS X hackers who want to get Mac OS X 10.4.4 (second most recent release) to run on x86 hardware.
It runs like a dream. As soon as I took control of the mouse, I knew it was significantly faster than the previous hacked version of 10.4.3. Apple has greatly improved the performance of OSx86 for the final released build. Applications load faster, effects work without delay, widgets appear faster, and best of all, Rosetta is fast. It’s everything I dreamed it to be.
